To many of us, our pets are family members. However, if these family members are ill or injured, we cannot call the local Emergency Room. We have to stabilize the animal and transport it to a veterinarian. The most important goal of this 10 hour Pet First Aid course is to help alleviate that feeling of helplessness in dealing with an injured animal, and to teach pet owners about preventative measures that will lessen the chance of injury or illness in the future.

Hands on learning with live animals, increases confidence and capability in new found skills. Ample time is allowed to ensure that you feel comfortable caring for an injured animal and dealing with an emergency situation. Course content includes: restraint and transportation, bleeding and wounds, shock, bone and joint injuries, eye and ear injuries, airway obstruction, CPR and more.

Studies have shown that those who have completed a first aid course lessen their chances of being involved in an accident by over 50%.
